"When we talk about being clean and sober , we are not talking about any kind of trance, ectasy or high. We are not talking about the aloof, alienated thinker who withdraws from society. Nor are we talking about the rigid , unbending one who screams for temperance. The sobriety and cleanness we are talking about is living today well.We enjoy our children and friends, live life to the fullest and are engaged in many activities. Some of us are great lovers, husbands, wives or leaders. We all at times, suffer anguish and doubt. No we are not drawn away from life, but to it. Am I living today well?
Lord let my love of the world shine forth from the irresistible burning love of God.
My plan for living today well is:
God help me to stay clean and sober today!"
